This New Pione variety from Okayama Prefecture is well known for its quality. Separating the skin of the grape from its fruit and soaking them both in shochu, this liquor produces both a sweet and sour aroma as well as astringency from the tannic acid.
Enjoy the sweetness splashing in your mouth to tame the bitterness.
It is rich in anthocyanin as well.
